Noam Chomsky : The Politics of War and Remembrance

Peter Ludlow, professor of philosophy and linguistics at the University of Michigan, gives a funny and interesting introduction for Noam Chomsky. To which he responds in kind. Noam Chomsky then discusses the ‘axis of evil’, North Korea, and overall US – Asian relations from WWII to the present. This lecture was given in the Charles B. Wang Center of Stony Brook University in the spring 2003

Ron Paul represents the authoritarian right, as do all reps and all but two dems in the race. They are far to the right of the majority…We don’t need more fascist corporate control….

Ron Paul is scary on every issue except the war and international politics in general every thing else he wants slash and destroy. Low or no taxes yes, sounds good but, you save several thousand dollars the corps get billions in saved taxes the wealthy get millions your community collapses but you get some more stuff in the short term. Crazy US voters

Ron Paul is libertarian. He’s the complete contradiction of his recently neoconservative dominated party.

  8. AnarchyDavey says:

He is a libertarian, just not in the traditional use of the term. He supports unregulated private power, much like we saw in the early 20’s, but more extreme. He’s not a contradiction, or he’d be in another party; in reality, he’s slightly to the right of various party members. He has different ideas how to maintain privilege and power…
