Q: Will the Obama administration improve the state of the world in 2009? A: The Obama administration will not improve the state of the world in 2009 alone. WE ALL will have a part to play in improving our world.

I’m never sure how much power any of us have either collectively or individually when I think of the power of nature – volcanos, tsunamis, meteorites – we’re all so many ants on a mudball.
Yet in spite of volcano eruptions or tsunamis hitting shore, we still live. Sure sometimes people die in the events, but we’re constantly making better technology with better communications to help prevent that.
Now you say that you’re not sure how much power we have. Lemme put it to you this way. In every other aspect of nature there is an equilibrium of life and death. When a population gets too large, it starts to die off until there’s almost too few to remain repopulate.
They repopulate and then go through it again. This is ecological equilibrium.
Humans do not fall into this; we just keep growing and growing in population. We adapt the world to continue to support us. Eventually we may run out of space or resources, but by then we might have a solution.
THAT is the power of humans. We have the power to solve our problems, to change the world.
What the mamk is saying is right. It isn’t only up to Obama to change the world; it’s up to all people of the world.
Change the world? Quite a large concept. I think someone is smoking dope.
I agree. We have all the tools that we need to be rid of shitty leadership for good. We merely need to find a way to use this media to focus and harvest our political will.
I think it will start in a small community, when someone creates a forum where people anxious to be on the city council can evangelize the current issues and engineer a deep transparency and real-time accountability.
Why so many sites to find your friends but not one that can even point you to your local government?
Very true. I agree, it takes more than one man to change the world. Still, I think you should have put yor vote in the “Yes” section because you do think he could make a difference
MONEY TO THE PEOPLE…… screw giving the bail out money to ANY Wall Street Co – Give the people the money, as they spend it it will fix economy, stop forclosures, get america out of debt, etc.
PLEASE join my protest to the Bail out and answer 1 question on camera: “How would you spend $297,000 dollars?” – That is the amount of BAIL OUT money given to the people….C’MON AMERICA, JOIN US IN TELLING THE GOV HOW WE COULD FIX THIS ECONOMY!……. The Fight Isnt Over YET!!
Yes, 1 man can make a difference. Hitler, Musolini, Mahatmma Ghandi, Martin Luther King and John Wilkes Booth all altered the world. Some changed it for the better, others for the worse. So far, I am not seeing any changes for the good from Obama. He is changing the US. I am not worried about making the politicals leaders happy, maybe we should lead rather than worry what everyone thinks.
Well Obama will change the world and America! He will ruin it all in a very short time! His policies already have racked up a debt never before seen in the history of the world! He is a pathetic idealist that will fail miserably and i pray each day he doesn’t, but it looks as if we have a “rookie” running the country and he is hurting America greatly! I just hope the Democrats wise up and see he is going too far too fast!
is not he the same guy from the other clip
