This guy brings redemption to this channel ..
i miss johnny bravo
Enjoyed this lesson – thanks a lot. Particularly liked the ‘Jamming with Dave’ section – really useful to be able to try some stuff out ‘live’ in the lesson…
Me, I kind of like to measure a good “guitar player” by his talent and knowlege of “jazz” riffs and arpeggios. When you can sit-in and jam with a jazz background musician(s), you know you have made it. It defines the American musician. Thanx for posting and job well done.
hey i gotta question, i have been playing for a while now, like 8 years, and i know this is gonna sound lame but i dont know the notes of the fret board, like ik them but i have to think about them. ik theory but its hard to apply it when i dont know what notes im playing. is there a good way to learn my fretboard or should i just keep working at it. ik it i just have to think an di wanna get it to the point were i dont have to think.
@TheWho0180 – hi – learning the fretboard is important and you want to knock it out a little at a time – just chip away at it – we have some killer lessons on our instructional website to help you with this and there is a free 3 day all access pass on the home page at next level guitar dot com – check it out in the master classes-intermediate lead-overall lead – ENJOY and rock on!

@TheWho0180 men I bin playing for aobut the same and I don’t know the notes aider.
Were can we see you play live, and is their a class with tip’s on how to set up a pedal board like what should go in front of what? thanx.
Hey not that bad of a lesson. very practical and sure beats the Crap out of that last lesson. what the Heck was that anyway?
@missystu
the logical implication is a bit strange. a good guitar player is someone who renders her-/himself through her/his play a true American musician?
That’s the beauty of music. We all have our own sound and style that’s as individual as our own handwriting wheather we like it or not. Ten musicians can play the same song on the same amp with the same axe and end up w/ 10 different sounds. I turned 10 in 1961 and had a front row seat to the birth of today’s music. Les Paul topped the charts with How High The Moon the day I was born in June of 51. PERFECT timeing!
@TheWho0180 When you play a note, think of it as the root of a barre chord in E, A or D shape. I don’t know if you understand what I mean, but it really helps and takes no time to learn it!
What guitar is that?
It was a really sweet sounding!
Thanks Man!
@LMilleniumT I’ve been playing guitar but I have no idea what the hell your talking about?!
